What an _adorably_ cute rail line!! I love the way it snuggles between the houses, and the route is lined with all sorts of greenery and flowers! Makes you feel like you're travelling through a fantasy location. I thoroughly enjoyed this video - Japan never ceases to amaze and delight me!! Thank you _so much_ for taking the time to record and share this journey with us! 😊☺
What a marvellous little railway! Very scenic views of the beach, the ocean, the on-road tram section, Enoshima island, even some nice well tended gardens. I last rode it in late 2019 and this great video brings back memories.
Thank you for this video of a very scenic line. Brought back memories when I rode it in 2017. Love the way the cars move out of the way in plenty of time.
just found this video and this was relaxing, nice line and beautiful ride, just amaze me how many small crossing there!, gonna try this line in the future when i visit japan, arigatou!
Is just amazing how the Japanese can be organized. Here in Brazil, a train line like that would be an awesome option to move through our litoral, but our railways are almost dead. Only Santos and São Vicente has a kind of transportation like that and it's range is extremely short, is a shame. I'd really love to visit Japan one day!
@ 22:01 I recognized the cemetery on the right from a previous video of this train going the opposite direction. I inquired if that's what it was and another viewer familiar with the area confirmed it.
It is all very civilized the driver is also the guard. I am Australian I know what a driver is. It is like the train and the houses grew together. Both part of the same entity.
I can see many countries through youtube but only Japan is a place that I can't forget through videos like this! Japan has become a benchmark (my own opinion) to compare cleanliness, classical, modern and natural arrangement than any modern concrete city in China.
At 20:58, how is it possible for the "train diversion/ rail shifts" to be in the position it is in? Does it move through the pressure of the train's wheels against the tracks?
Hi. You can also see this at 6:55. These switches are provided with a spring system in the ‘tongues’ (or ‘points’) which enables it to shift by force of the wheels without causing any damage or chances of derailment. So every time the wheels have passed, the switch tongues flap back in position. This is not all that common on railway lines, but with streetcar lines it is.
Hi: Why are you putting out films with no narration. I would like to hear what's going on!! I lived in Japan for many years, and continue to enjoy stoies about Japan. Why no narration???
Very cool. And the best thing about this video is there isn't some clown with a digital camera next to the videographer with his fake shutter sound clattering away uselessly ruining the beautiful stack talk of the locomotives.
@@Keikyu-2100I think the reason I was recommended this particular video of yours was due to the Mandarin Chinese chatter and recent wave of Aokigahara(suicide forest investigation) moving to China(generally the mountains and tall buildings) and how's there's actually a lot of freelance Mandarin Chinese current affairs talkshow hosts in Japan...😂😂😂 I keep getting on RUclips... After I saw the film Suicide Club😮😮😢😢

Very good
I love all of the various of Japan : people's character, country landscape, movie, culture etc its all very nice ones
Interesting how the track points are switched by the trains themselves.

Looks like an ascended streetcar line ; but as far as I can tell it's been a railway from the outset.

My best friend, Wonderful video dear. I enjoyed watching. Hope to see you soon...
Excellent video! The train passed at around 27:57 was made in 1960. I believe there are two that old still in use on this line.
What a Lovely Railway although single line i love how it goes through the urban areas and looks smart
Enoshima Dentetsu is a really beautiful line, love it.👍

Beautiful Upload friend. keep it up. Thank you for sharing this to us. Greetings from Korea
DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A MODEL RAILROAD MODELED AFTER THIS LINE ?
Such a beautiful trip!
One of the places I will sure visit while in Japan!
Superb views, very beautiful. Although I don't think residents with a train passing 3 feet from their windows are happy.
love the trains so much too
Great solution here for Brazil. I suppose everyone likes it in Japan, right?

People just absolutely love the enoden and it shows, hopefully someday I can take photos of it and ride it myself. Great video!
Wonderful tour through a everyday life in a everyday town in Japan.

wow.. beautiful city.. nice cab ride too
Wow, it's so unusual and beautiful. Like a hidden world between houses.

My favourite Japanese railway. It has everything.
What a beautiful tour of the interior of the city and that wonderful and refreshing route along the sea side is spectacular,, greetings from India
Why did you copy and paste from the Chilean? You aren’t slick I’m pretty sure the only thing you contributed was the word, India

Interesting. Is this a recently re-opened line or something as why are some many people taking pictures?
It's a famous historical line that connects between a lot of touristic places

Beautiful video brother I like it very much now I am your new subscriber from Pakistan nice to meet you

Chinese people are loud when talking. When there is a train announcement, they speak louder.
Another reason is they are near my mic,,,
